The “Wa Harid al-Muminin” operations room announced on July 2 that its fighters had carried out a successful hit-and-run attack on a key position of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the area of al-Masharie in the northern Hama countryside.
A day later, the operations room released an infographic claiming that seven Syrian service members were killed in the attack and that several light weapons were captured.

The Wa Harid al-Muminin operations room was formed last year by al-Qaeda-affiliated Jamat Ansar al-Islam, Horas al-Din, Jabhat Ansar al-Islam and Ansar al-Tawhid. Since its establishment, the operations room has rejected all ceasefire agreements and openly worked to sabotage them.
Last week, 18 SAA soldiers were killed in a similar attack by Wa Harid al-Muminin’s fighters on a military position near the town of Atshan in northern Hama.
These repeated attacks around Idlib reflect the deteriorating situation in the region, where the influence of al-Qaeda-affiliated groups continue to grow under the eyes of Turkish observation posts.
Without the Hezzies the SAA can’t pick their own nose.
As far as SAA does not lunch a full offensive to Idlib, SAA will be continuously damage by terrorists.

I have been on deployment in Afghanistan. I can tell you the SAA is very unproffesional they dont even have basic gear like helmets.
As usual along these years of the Syrian war….I remember the words of a Russian Speznat..he told that 16 of them defended an outpost in east Homs vs around 100 ISIS….while another 100 SAA soldiers fled from there when ISIS was coming….in spite that SAA soldiers were inside trench, sand box to protect them and advance weapons!….another example happened in Aleppo where 20 Speznats and Hezbollah members repelled 300 Al Nusra fighters….while 500 SAA soldiers were unable to defend the military academy weeks ago vs less than 100 terrorist!….
