The year of 2020 has been marked by a number of negative tendencies and crises. This includes the global economic crisis, the COVID-19 outbreak, the increase of chances of the US-Iranian war, the start of the Armenian-Azerbaijani war and th egrowing instability in the United States.

These developments are accompanied by the increasing censorship against independent media organizations and activists. Euro-Atlantic structures have been contributing extensive efforts to silence independent points of view. SouthFront is one of the targets of this campaign. The pressure faced by our team is unprecedented. SouthFront was not only named by the US State Department as one of the main threats to the globalist propaganda, but was censored by the 4 largest mainstream social media platforms: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter… and even Instagram.

Despite this, our team is not going to surrender. Thanks to your support, SouthFront survived in the previous months and even was able to keep most of its coverage (including text analyses, exclusive videos, maps and infographics). Nonetheless, the situation remains very complicated.
