The APB (Russian: Avtomaticheskij Pistolet Besshumnyj) is a version of the Stechkin automatic pistol (APS – Avtomaticheskiy Pistolet Stechkina) optimized for silent operations.

Spetsnaz first started carrying silenced Stechkin’s way back during their operations in Afghanistan, to great success too. Very effective in close quarters.

The cloned super soldiers that I may have to deal with are going to be tough to take down when their designed for enhanced survivability. I’m working on custom loads for contact work. The CZ-52 in Tokarev 7.62 x 25 can be loaded +P with copper mono metal to rifle velocities that will provide anti material capability. The HK 26.5 mm pistol can have an insert made up to run .30-06 steel core ap. It would need to be safety shot in a test fixture. Recoil management would also be an issue in a light handgun. The insert would probably need a muzzle brake attachment. The 26.5 mm husks can also be custom loaded for specific applications.
