On the night of May 13, the Ukrainian military attempted new wave of strikes in the Russian rear regions. Suffering heavy defeat in different directions on the frontlines, the Armed Forces of Ukraine pushed by their partners from NATO do not stop attempts to inflict at least some damage mainly to civilian rear facilities, using NATO weapons. Russian Air Defense Forces successfully repelled another attack. As a result, Kiev and NATO warmongers wasted at least €8 million more in vain.
On the morning of May 13, the Russian Ministry of Defense summed up the results of the night battles between Russian Air Defense Forces against enemy drones, shells and missiles. In total, 31 drones, 12 MLRS shells and four foreign cruise missiles were destroyed overnight. The attack targeted three Russian border regions and the Crimean peninsula.
According to the official data, the following targets were destroyed by Russian Air Defense Forces at night:
- 4 Storm Shadow cruise missiles and 7 UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Republic of Crimea;
- 12 rockets of the Olkha MLRS and 12 UAVs were destroyed over the Belgorod region;
- 8 UAVs were intercepted over the territory of the Kursk region;
- 4 UAVs were intercepted over the territory of the Lipetsk region.
Unofficial Russian sources reported no damage to the Russian rear infrastructure last night.

The Ukrainian military, supported by NATO reconnaissance means and armed by NATO missiles, loses no hope to reach targets in the Russian rear, in particular in Crimea. The peninsula and the Crimean Bridge is the sacred targets for the NATO/Ukrainian military.
In recent weeks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have resumed strikes on the peninsula. Different regions of Crimea were targeted by NATO ATACMS missiles, naval drones and UAVs. Only one attack was successful and inflicted damage to Russian Air Defense Forces deployed near the town of Dzhankoi in the northern part of the peninsula. It is worth noting that the French/British-made Storm Shadow/Scalp-EG missiles were used for the attack on the Crimean peninsula back in late March. Then, the missiles targets the Russian Black Sea Fleet but the attack failed to inflict any significant damage to the targets. LINK
The ongoing strikes on the Crimean peninsula confirm the plan of Kiev and NATO warmongers to launch a massive devastating attack on Crimea or the Crimean Bridge.
