In the afternoon of July 12, a suicide vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (SVBIED) exploded right next to the headquarters of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) special forces in the town of al-Tayyana in southeastern Deir Ezzor.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack within a few hours and identified the suicide attacker as “Abu Qasim al-Tamimi.”

The terrorist group’s main news agency, Amaq, claimed that “dozens” of SDF fighters were killed or injured in the attack. The agency also released several photos showing the explosion.

The SDF has not commented on the attack, so far. However, several local sources confirmed ISIS’ claims and revealed that the US-backed group’s special forces headquarters was located inside a villa near al-Tayyana’s gestation.

This was one of the biggest attacks on the SDF this year. ISIS cells in northwestern Syria are apparently increasing their logistic and operational capabilities.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

Meanwhile Erdogan’s amassing Turkish troops and vehicles just across the Syrian border from Ar Raqqah in preparation for a possible invasion, and for 2 days now the US has been flying constant patrols around the area to monitor the situation. Ceylanpinar in Turkey which is just on the Syrian Al Hasakah border, already has a large highly mobile armoured military force stationed there that could make lightning fast advances into Syria at a moments notice, and now we have another possible invasion force being formed just outside of the Ar Raqqah governorate too, that has to be a huge worry for the US and the SDF. And on top of that we have Isis beefing up operations against the SDF too, could an incident between the Kurds and the local populations of some of the predominantly Turkmen towns or villages in the area be just the spark Erdogan needs to launch an invasion into SDF/US held territory, possibly, that would have to be another major concern for the US, especially now since it’s been confirmed the Turks are already receiving the first shipments of S-400 components. The SAA and Russia are bombing Erdogan’s rebels in Idlib 24/7, and the SAA have even attacked Turkish OB posts causing Turkish casualties, which then provoked Erdogan to send a huge military convoy to the border with Islib and station them there, now he’s doing the same thing on his side of the Ar Raqqah border across from the SDF, things are getting very interesting again.
