On July 6, multiple videos documenting recent combat operations by the Russian military in the special military operation zone were posted to social networks.
Seven of the videos show drone attacks that targeted Kiev forces and their equipment in Donetsk and several other directions in recent days. Among the targets hit were multiple reconnaissance drones and even one loitering munition.
Two more videos show a helicopter attack with a LMUR guided missile on a drone unit in the settlement of Tyaginka in the Kherson direction and a strike with a Lancet loitering munition on a howitzer near the settlement of Boguslava in the Kharkiv direction.
The remaining five videos showed airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that targeted fortified positions in the directions of Zaporizhia, Sumy and Kharkiv.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile and drones strikes hit “an aviation base, an enterprise for the production of components for long-range UAVs [Unmanned Aerial Systems], ammunition depots, assembly workshops and storage sites for UAVs and uncrewed surface vehicles as well as temporary deployment areas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and foreign mercenaries” in 141 areas in the special military operation zone over the past 24 hours.
The ministry also said that the Black Sea Fleet destroyed three drone boats, adding that six guided aerial bombs and 298 fixed-wing drones were shot down by air defenses.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 663 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 67,647 drones, 614 air defense systems, 24,143 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,575 multiple rocket launchers, 27,043 artillery pieces, and 37,712 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
