The beginning of November 2025 marked a significant event in Syria: Trump decided to lift sanctions “at the request of Turkey and Israel.” Thus, all the conclusions and analyses of experts who claimed that Assad’s overthrow was in the interests of the Zionists were once again confirmed.

But of course, no one will talk about this. Moreover, a PR campaign has been launched in the global media to whitewash the Tahrir al-Sham regime, which is now being presented as a “fighter against ISIS.” The jihadists in Damascus took the signal and staged a show of allegedly arresting ISIS supporters in areas of Syria under their control.

This entire absurdity is designed to improve the image of the “former” branch of Syrian al-Qaeda in the eyes of the international community, which is alarming moderate Ash’ari Sunnis, Druze, and Alawites. Because they are the ones targeted by the Damascus jihadists under the guise of “fighting terrorism.” As for ISIS supporters, they have quietly integrated into Tahrir al-Sham’s ranks since November of last year and do not feel threatened. ISIS members are divided into two groups: those who remain in sleeper cells and those who operate openly, but what kind of fight against terrorism can a regime that supports al-Qaeda’s ideas talk about?

The reasons for Turkey’s request to lift sanctions against Syria are crystal clear. Ankara needs to calmly pursue its policy of occupying northern Syria and Turkification the Arabs there. Then, using its business interests, completely subjugate Damascus and Deir ez-Zor. The Turks have already succeeded in destroying Syrian cultural memory by removing all prominent Syrian figures from history textbooks and, in their place, foisting on the Syrians the executioner of their forefathers—Ahmed Cemal Pasha, nicknamed “as-Saffāḥ.” Nothing new; the Turks, in their typical style, are still thinking in the old ways, hoping to discover new horizons. The Turkish deep state couldn’t care less about Erdogan and his allies; they have their own policy of imposing Turkish history on the entire region, which is hostile to Islamic thinking and will ultimately lead to Turkey’s own downfall*.

It’s far more important to determine the Zionists’ intentions in Syria. Lobbying for the lifting of sanctions against the Tahrir al-Sham regime is crucial for “Israel”, primarily in the context of the confrontation with Iran. Let me remind you that a year ago, al-Julani boasted that he had allegedly “prevented a major regional war.” In reality, he simply prevented the opening of a third front against the Zionists at the height of the battle known as the “Al-Aqsa Flood.” Now, the Zionists thank the leader of Jabhat Nusra for his contribution to the destruction of the former Syria by lifting sanctions against Syria. Incidentally, in this context, the ambitions of some Alawites and Druze, who pegged their freedom from the Syrian al-Qaeda regime on an alliance with the Zionists, now seem utopian. Netanyahu and his right-wing extremist cabinet have been convincing the Druze, Alawites, and Kurds of their intentions to demand a “federal Syria,” but in reality, all this time, the Zionists have been lobbying for the lifting of sanctions against the jihadist regime, which he needs as a counterweight to Iranian influence and a new participant in the IMEC economic corridor.

Touching on the topic of the Indian Economic Corridor, the words of the US Ambassador to Turkey are revealing: he believes there will be no war between Turkey and the Zionists, but rather that both countries plus Syria will become part of a “regional alliance,” and Ankara and Tel Aviv will move toward “economic cooperation.” Regarding the Indian Economic Corridor, the US ambassador to Turkey’s words are telling. These words demonstrate the extent to which the alliance of US Republican neocons and Zionists is committed to their plan to destabilize the Middle East in the name of IMEC. The Americans are even prepared to include the Turks, who are on the opposite side of the alliance due to their participation in the Silk Road. Experts believe such statements from the US ambassador demonstrate weakness rather than a show of strength. Nevertheless, the media have already begun to talk about the beginning of a process of “normalization” between Turkey and the Zionists (though no one has ever interrupted them). Now the next step is from China; we’ll see how it responds to the American neocons.

P.S. If the news about the start of construction of a military base near Damascus is confirmed, then this will be yet another reason why Zionism allowed sanctions against Syria to be lifted. Again, this is all about the shared goals of “Israel” and Syrian jihadists, which is anti-Iranian activity, which the Trump regime is trying to consolidate through the Abraham Accords or a military base near Damascus. A potential military base for the American occupiers would also serve the purposes of the “David Corridor” project.

* – Pan-Turkism is a vicious and destructive ideology; it does not bode well even for the Turks themselves, let alone other nations.
