On October 18, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) captured Bard’ayyah Hill near Mughr al-meer village east of Beit Jinn town in the Western Ghouta region, according to pro-government sources.
Syrian attack helicopters conducted 8 airstrikes on Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra, the Syrian branch of al-Qaeda) positions in Bard’ayyah area, according to pro-oppositions sources.
Meanwhile, the Tahrir al-Sham (HTS)-linked news agency Iba’a reported that HTS fighters destroyed 4 battle tanks of the SAA with ATGMs around Bard’ayyah Hill. Iba’a also claimed that HTS fighters destroyed a Shilka vehicle of the SAA with an ATGM in Hayna Hill.
In a related development, the Israeli Army announced that two projectiles fired during the ongoing clashes between the SAA and HTS in the Western Ghouta landed near the demilitarized zone in the Golan Heights. The Israel Army said that the projectiles set off the warning sirens inside Israel. The projectiles landed inside Syria.
According to pro-government sources the aim of the SAA limited military operation in the Western Ghouta Region is to pressure the FSA and HTS there to accept an evacuation agreement. However, so far the SAA has made only minor gains due to the stiff resistance of HTS fighters in the region.
What kind of nonsense game are the Israeli government playing at, the objects land in Syria and the alarm goes off. They must be smoking crack again or hallucinations must abound there in Israel.
No matter anymore! They are too scared to fly their planes now after being shot down by a S-200 :)
A F-35 no less.
It was a flying chicken!
