Militants in the villages of Samlin, Kafr Shams, Kafr Nasej and Aqraba in the southern Syrian province of Daraa have reconciled with the Damascus government, the state-run news agency SANA reported on July 10.
According to the report, militants will hand over all heavy and medium weapons and will get a chance to settle their legal status with the government. The government institutions will be restored in the settlements.
The SANA added that militants are set to start handing over weapons immidiately.
Aditionally, the Syrian Army liberated the area of Gharaz in the southeastern countryside of Daraa city, according to pro-government sources.
In the liberated area, government troops seized a battle tank, some US-made TOW missiles, mortar rounds, rocket shells, tank shells, RPGs, IEDs as well as other weapons and munition.
