Militants in the villages of Samlin, Kafr Shams, Kafr Nasej and Aqraba in the southern Syrian province of Daraa have reconciled with the Damascus government, the state-run news agency SANA reported on July 10.

According to the report, militants will hand over all heavy and medium weapons and will get a chance to settle their legal status with the government. The government institutions will be restored in the settlements.

The SANA added that militants are set to start handing over weapons immidiately.

Aditionally, the Syrian Army liberated the area of Gharaz in the southeastern countryside of Daraa city, according to pro-government sources.

In the liberated area, government troops seized a battle tank, some US-made TOW missiles, mortar rounds, rocket shells, tank shells, RPGs, IEDs as well as other weapons and munition.

This may be how the SDF areas have the Syrian government administration restored, municipality by municipality.

Feudalism Victory

Calculations say to surrender and dont become an unwanted refugee. Jordon closed israel will laugh as they die and I dont think surrendering to hezbollah will work well either.

An account here on the IDF aircraft hit by Syrian Air Defense a couple of nights ago…might interest some here:

This is really big news!

Rob

3 years before I had given prediction that the Western project of Israel will soon terminate. The reason why I had said because I saw some indications in the world politics.

Rob

Who is the leader of Iraq now, Muqtada al-Sadr or Abadi because Haider Al-Abadi has lost 2018 election and rejected by Iraqi nation?

MeMadMax

Last I heard they are doing run-off elections or a recount.

Rob

That was some one month ago, which was a scam.

el albadi be allied now with al sadr!!

jorge

It’s in the north of West Daraa, where things till now were quiet.

Smaug

Now that the SAA is defeating militias that had at one point or another received help from the US it seems that every SAA unit is claiming to have recovered some piece of evidence of US involvement. Especially, the unlikely TOW rockets. There’s a pattern forming here, I think that the agendas of every officer is causing them to fudge reports in order to make themselves look good and make other people act hostile to their personal enemies.

PZIVJ

Most TOW’s supplied by Saudis. and then they replenish their stocks from US. Therefore US has deniability in congress, this is how it works.

Smaug

That would make sense, if there was a need to maintain deniability to Congress. Between al-Tanf and Kurdistan it is no secret that the US backs non-jihadist opposition militias. In any case, giving a militia a vehicle mounted weapon in a place where supply and training are difficult makes no sense. Javelins and other shoulder mounted weapons or man portable mortars would make more sense. I imply here that an illusion is being created here by the net effect of many SAA pushing their personal agendas on their superiors.

PZIVJ

Tank in pix was hiding at the Gharaz grain silos ? Keep up the great work SAA.

antoun

good news!!!
