On August 1, ISIS terrorists launched a “hit-and-run” attack on positions of the National Defense Forces (NDF) in the western Deir Ezzor countryside.
The terrorists attacked the NDF’s positions in the early hours of the morning engaging pro-government fighters in clashes.
According to Baladi News, a pro-opposition news outlet, two NDF fighters were killed and several others were injured in the attack. No losses were reported on ISIS’ side.
“The militias [the NDF] deployed military reinforcements in the clashes scene,” Baladi News quoted a local source as saying.
The attack was likely launched from the Homs desert, which lays between western Deir Ezzor and eastern Homs. Hundreds of ISIS terrorists are reportedly taking shelter in the desert. The terrorists are allegedly receiving supplies from U.S.-backed fighters based in the southeastern area of al-Tanaf.
Two weeks ago, the NDF carried out a large combing operation in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor. A number of ISIS hideouts were uncovered and destroyed.
Despite many similar operations, ISIS remnants are still active in western Deir Ezzor. Government forces will have to take more serious measures to address the threat of the terrorist group.
ISIS is favored by the US and Zionist Jew terrorist trash. And since the US offcially acknowledged they were in Syria to steal the land, oil, and to make it all a quarmire for Russia and Iran, ISIS actions have only intensified.
US base of Al Tanf is the main ISIS nest..other nest is Turkey along its border with Syria.
Surely a couple of decent drones from the Russian airforce could sweep this desert in 10 or 12 hours and pinpoint the location of these rats once and for all

Its Ok, nothing to worry about, the Russian satellites and drones were turned off for maintenance . Next time they will spot and stop these attacks before they happen.
