Hezbollah and its allies launched out a new series of attacks against Israel from southern Lebanon on December 15, provoking a response by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).

In separate statements, Hezbollah said that its fighters attacked the Israeli military site of Bayad Blida with “suitable weapons” and fired Burkan heavy rockets at the sites of al-Jardah and al-Raheb. It also announced attacks against Israeli gatherings of manpower and equipment in the Ramim barracks, Hanita site and the area of Horsh Shtoula.

An Israeli force entering the headquarters of the Intelligence Battalion in the Mitat barracks was also targeted by Hezbollah fighters with “suitable weapons”.

The attacks were carried out “to support the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance,” Hezbollah noted in all of its statements.

In addition to the attacks announced by Hezbollah, a salvo of rockets launched from southern Lebanon targeted the northern Israeli settlement of Kiryat Shmona. The IDF said that some of the rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system, while others landed in open areas.

The Iron Dome also intercepted a “suspicious aerial target” that entered Israeli airspace from Lebanon, and a drone launched from southern Lebanon crashed near an army post close to Menara, according to the IDF.

In response, The IDF said that an attack helicopter and a combat drone struck a number of Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, including a rocket launcher used in the attack on Kiryat Shmona.

Earlier, the IDF said that the Air Force struck a Hezbollah target in southern Lebanon and carried out a strike on two gunmen identified near the border.

Lebanese media didn’t report any civilian casualties. However, Hezbollah said that one of its fighters was killed “on the road to Jerusalem.” The allied Syrian Social Nationalist Party also announced the death of one of its fighters, the first since the clashes on the Lebanese-Israeli border broke out after the start of the war in Gaza.

Tenison on the border are building up. In an apparent warning to Hezbollah, the IDF issued a statement on December 15 saying it is carrying out intensive training in northern Israel.

The IDF said that the training, dubbed “precious time,” is aimed at preparing the soldiers for “additional possible scenarios on the northern border,” while carrying out their routine operations in the area.

It noted the troops are training during the day and at night, in open and urban areas, and from the level of platoons to battalions. The soldiers are also being taught how to use armored vehicles and other weaponry.

Around the same time, Israeli War Cabinet Minister Benny Gantz, visiting Ma’alot-Tarshiha in the Upper Galilee, said that he had invited top Western diplomats to visit the area and realize the threat posed by Hezbollah. The minister said that “if the world doesn’t get Hezbollah away from the border, Israel will do so,” without elaborating.

It’s worth noting Israel has warned it will no longer tolerate the presence of Hezbollah on its northern front, where it could attempt to carry out a surprise attack similar to that launched by the Hamas Movement from Gaza on October 7.

Psionists slaves of America

looks like israeli drones and other surveillance hardware aren’t working very well or are being overwhelmed by so many attacks on so many fronts. how is it possible that such large munitions as hesbullah burkan missiles can shoot and scoot at will.

so, this is not hype. the fact is that algeria military, expected invasion to alleviate the palestinians plight, is going to need a place to land and they probably will not land in lebanon hezbollah territory.
