Today, the Lebanese authorities have detained three Russian citizens at the Al-Aboudieh border crossing at the Syrian-Lebanese border.
Three Russian citizens were arrested by the Lebanese border guards after military uniforms of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) were found in their car.
The three Russian citizens are believed to be civilian experts or activists who have got the uniforms as a souvenir from Syria, but it seems that the Lebanese border guards have been asked to stop them by some party for some reason. According to Lebanese sources, they are expected to be released soon, since they did not violate any law.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese intelligence arrested two Lebanese terrorists of ISIS. According to an official statement, one of the terrorists tried to join the ranks of ISIS in the city of Raqqa in Syria, but the organization asked him to stay in Lebanon to carry out operations against the Lebanese Army.
The statement also noted that the terrorists have published ISIS propaganda and religious materials in the Internet in order to recruit young people in favor of ISIS. They were also dissiminating instructions on how to manufacture explosives and to conduct terrorist attacks.
