A U.S. service member deployed in Iraq died on October 27 as a result of “a non-combat related incident,” the U.S. Department of Defense announced.
In an official press release, the DoD said that the alleged incident that claimed the life of 23-year old Sgt. Nathaneil G. Irish, took place at Camp Taji, located north of Iraq’s capital, Baghdad.
“Irish was assigned to 25th Brigade Support Battalion, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, Fort Wainwright, Alaska,” the press release reads.
Camp Taji, where a large U.S. force is deployed, was reportedly targeted with at least three mortar shells on October 28, Baghdad time.
Iraqi defense minister Najah al-Shumri visited the camp a day after the mortar attack. The Iraqi minister told the press that the attack didn’t result in any “serious human losses.”
It remains unclear if the incident that killed Sgt. G. Irish was related to the mortar attack. The DoD usually releases more detailed information about such fatal incidents days later.

Bullshit, the Iraqi’s are sick of Yanks.
yeah and they want them gone but the morons don’t want to listen on that ear so they hang on for dear life. watch their knuckles.
bet the poor befuddles yank’s father wasn’t in congress or some other such like institution. more likely white trash from the fly over states whose future was either the meth-bussines (and life long incarceration) or the marines and a good probability to be sent back from where ever in a body bag or as an invalid person living off hand outs in the subway or some such place. so anyway, in his case it was the body bag probability!
Chose to end his military service with prejudice. Did not sign up to be a brigand.
he shat his pants too hard lmao
