In the Slaviansk sector, Russian units are advancing west of Yarove and have reached Sosnove. They are also fighting on the approaches to Oleksandrivka and Korovyi Yar. In the Kharkiv sector, advances are being recorded on nearly all fronts, including in the Liman forest area, where four strongpoints have been seized and counterattacks repelled. In the Sumy sector, assault groups advanced up to 500 meters along six sections of the front. They resumed active operations south of Konstantynivka and in the Andriivka area. In the Zaporizhzhia sector, near Prymorske, units have reached the southern shore of the Malokaterynivka Estuary and are approaching Zaporizhzhia. In Kupyansk, despite both sides claiming success, heavy street fighting continues. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that the United States has expressed a willingness to consider providing Ukraine with security guarantees after a peace treaty is concluded.
Slaviansk Sector
In the Slaviansk sector, Russian units from the “West” grouping continued to advance north of Slaviansk. They advanced west of Yarove and reached Sosnove, creating conditions to bypass the Sviatohirsk urban agglomeration from the north. Meanwhile, an offensive is developing in the direction of Izium.
There are active combat operations on the approaches to the Oleksandrivka and Korovyi Yar settlements. In the Ozernyi area, fighting for a strongpoint continues as units squeeze the formed “pocket” and advance in the northwestern part. In Zakotne, the intensity of fighting has not decreased. Russian assault groups have entered the central part of the settlement, but the situation is unstable and requires consolidation.
Northwest of Siversk, which was previously captured, Russian units operating from commanding heights have advanced, seizing a number of tree plantations. Ukrainian units are attempting to use field roads to redeploy reserves to Zakotne and the eastern sections of the front. Drone units are constantly monitoring these routes, detecting and destroying equipment and personnel. Strikes are also being delivered against logistical targets in remote areas, including the Slaviansk Thermal Power Plant area, Kalenyky, and Kryva Luka.
Fighting for the settlement of Reznykivka continues on the southern section of the sector. Taking advantage of inclement weather, Ukrainian command attempted a counterattack to penetrate Sviato-Pokrovske. The attack was repelled, and the equipment and personnel used were destroyed. Control over Kirove is maintained.
Kharkiv Sector
In the Kharkiv sector, there is fierce fighting in the settlements and forested areas south of Vovchansk. Russian units are advancing on practically all fronts. They are receiving active support from aviation, artillery, heavy flamethrower systems, and drone units.
In the Staritsa area, aviation and flamethrower systems targeted positions in tree plantations. Russian assault groups advanced 250 meters on two fronts. In the forested area near Liman, four strong points were captured, advancing 650 meters and repelling one counterattack. In the Melove-Khatnie area, aviation struck a deployment point in the Kolodekne area, and units advanced 600 meters along seven sections of tree plantations. Special forces detected and destroyed a camouflaged self-propelled artillery piece during reconnaissance in the Revoliutsiyne area.
There have been cases of Ukrainian units refusing to participate in counterattacks. In this regard, work is being carried out to strengthen defensive positions and mine the approaches to them remotely. The command continues to employ territorial defense units for active operations, tasking them with regaining lost positions at any cost.
Sumy Sector
Active assault actions have resumed in the Sumy sector. Russian aviation has increased the intensity of strikes on Ukrainian positions to ensure the advance of the infantry. Assault groups advanced on six sections of the front in the Sumy and Krasnopillia districts, advancing up to 500 meters during the reporting period.
South of Konstantynivka, Russian units pushed Ukrainian combat groups out of the ravines to the east of the Khotin road. These ravines had been used as natural cover and routes for covert maneuvering. In the Andriivka area, consolidation occurred in the northern part of the settlement, and fighting continues in the southwestern part. Units also consolidated on the southern outskirts of Varachyn and continued the offensive southeast through tree plantations from Oleksandrivka. A new offensive is developing southwest of Yablunivka, threatening to encircle separate groups.
Advances were also recorded west of Yunakivka, where new positions were taken under control in the direction of Khrapovshchyna, as well as in two forest strips southwest of the settlement. In the Sadky area, assault operations resumed with the entry into the forested area west of the border. Russian units continue to strengthen their positions along the border, forming a buffer zone.
Russian artillery and aviation have struck areas of troop concentration near Ryzhivka and Pavlivka. A precision strike destroyed an engineering-sapper platoon command post.
Zaporizhzhia Sector
In the Zaporizhzhia sector, the situation remains complex and dynamic, with frequent attacks from both sides. As a result of offensive actions in the Prymorske area, Russian units reached the southern shore of the Malokaterynivka Estuary where the Konka River flows into the Dnipro. This reduced the distance to the southern outskirts of Zaporizhzhia to approximately 13 kilometers.
Most of Prymorske is considered a “gray zone,” where the opposing sides’ positions are intermingled and small groups are in close proximity to each other. Full control of the settlement is difficult while Ukrainian fighters hold the high ground and sections of the M-18 highway in the area. The Ukrainian command is making significant efforts to prevent a crossing to the northern bank of the Konka River.
To the east, Russian units have approached the village of Pavlivka and are advancing northeast from the previously captured Lukianivske. This threatens to cut the main supply routes of the grouping in the Orikhiv area. The offensive toward Orikhiv began with attacks in Novodanylivka and Mala Tokmachka, which remain in the “gray zone.” In the western sector, near Stepove and Shcherbakiv, Ukrainian attacks were repelled and an advance from Stepnohirsk was initiated.
Kupyansk Sector
Heavy urban fighting continues in Kupyansk. Poor weather conditions are complicating the situation by limiting the capabilities of aerial reconnaissance and the use of unmanned aerial vehicles. Incoming footage indicates that Ukrainian infantry units have penetrated deeper into the urban area than previously assumed.
On the right bank of the Oskil River, Ukrainian assault groups have captured a kindergarten. The situation in the southern part of the city remains unclear. On the left bank, the Russian army controls the Kupyansk sugar factory and part of the dairy-canning combine and is repelling attacks. Ukrainian units are attempting to consolidate their positions around Secondary School No. 2. Russian drone operators are striking to prevent the establishment of stable defense nodes in capital buildings. The situation in the city is extremely tense, with combat being conducted amid Ukrainian troop numerical superiority in certain areas.
Conclusion
In the Slavyansk sector, the offensive is progressing with a breakthrough to the north of Sviatohirsk and a push toward Izyum. The key resistance points remain Zakotne and Reznykivka. In the Kharkiv sector, a progressive advance has been noted in most areas, with strong points being captured in forested areas. The Ukrainian command, facing a shortage of reserves, is strengthening defenses and conducting remote mining operations. In the Sumy sector, active assault operations have resumed with an advance of up to 500 meters and the capture of key tree lines and ravines, which undermines the stability of Ukrainian troops’ defenses. In the Zaporizhzhia sector, the situation remains complex and fluid. Ukrainian troops reached the Malokaterynivka Estuary near Prymorske, threatening the logistical routes of Orikhiv. However, consolidating control over settlements is difficult. In Kupyansk, there is heavy and unstable urban fighting with variable control over individual districts and locations.
Alongside the military operations, efforts are underway to establish the political framework for a potential settlement. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that the United States has expressed a willingness to consider providing Ukraine with security guarantees after a peace treaty is signed. According to reports, these measures may include an American troop presence on the line of contact. The Polish Prime Minister believes that such statements could accelerate the peace process. He previously noted that peace could be achieved in the coming weeks, but this would require compromises on territorial issues. These diplomatic initiatives are taking shape against the backdrop of Russia’s ongoing offensive in most sectors, which gives the negotiation process a unique dynamic.
