United States, Saudi Arabia Are Preparing For Iranian Attack On Energy Infrastructure In Middle East

Saudi Arabia has shared intelligence with the United States warning of an imminent Iranian attack on energy infrastructure in the Middle East, including the kingdom, The Wall Street Journal reported on November 1, citing Saudi and American officials.

According to the newspaper, Saudi Arabia, the U.S. and several other neighboring states raised the level of alert for their military forces in response to the warning.

Officials from Saudi Arabia and the U.S. confirmed the information revealed by The Wall Street Journal to the CNN. A Saudi official told the news channel that that kingdom shared intelligence of the possible attack with the U.S. A second American official said that U.S. Air Force F-22 fighter jets are already deployed in Saudi Arabia to counter any threat.

State Department spokesperson Ned Price said following the reports that the U.S. is “concerned about the threat picture” and “in constant contact through military, diplomatic, intelligence channels with the Saudis.”

“We won’t hesitate to act in defense of our interests and our partners in the region,” Price said at a department briefing.

The spokesman noted that he was not aware of any public warnings issued through the embassy about a threat and confirmed that the State Department is required to inform citizens.

From his side, Pentagon press secretary Brigade General Pat Ryder would not confirm whether there’s currently a threat, but said that the Pentagon remains “concerned about the threat situation in the region,” and is “in regular contact with our Saudi partners.”

The U.S. reportedly believes the goal of the attack may be to shift attention from the ongoing protests in Iran to Saudi Arabia.

Iran continues to face mass protests over the death of Mahsa Amini. The 22-year-old Kurdish woman died in September after being detained for allegedly violating the country’s Islamic dress code for women. Tehran has already accused Saudi Arabia of supporting the protests.

In mid-September, Commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Major General Hossein Salami threatened Riyadh over the coverage of the protests by the media it allegedly controls.

Salami claimed that Saudis are trying to provoke the Iranian youth, threatening that if they do not control their media the consequences will be unavoidable.

Riyadh severed ties with Tehran in 2016 after Iranian protesters stormed the Saudi embassy in Tehran in response to Saudi Arabia’s execution of a Shiite cleric. Iran-backed Houthis (Ansar Allah) in Yemen have also attacked energy infrastructure in Saudi Arabia in recent years.

Saudi and Iranian officials have met on several occasions in recent months to discuss a possible reconciliation. Now however, the alleged Iranian threat will likely reignite tensions between the two neighboring states. Not surprisingly, this would play in favor of the U.S.

Artificial tensions in preparation for the mid-term elections. I just hope that there will no false flag provocation by the US. The Mahsa Amini death has nothing to do with the Iranians, the campaign is just a cheap and baseless provocation that Slouthfront should stop carrying.

That’s right and I apologize for hijacking your comment. Almost everything I post gets disappeared so I do this and hope at least a couple of people read it before it gets deleted.

– There wasn’t and isn’t any “massive protests” inside Iran. There was some protests, mainly a crowd of 10-30 people trying to block streets and crossroads to create a traffic jam. – There was a large number of sabotage and destruction of public and private properties, like banks, hospitals, bus stations and the “#Iran_Revolution_2022” signature, garbage bins. – There was a number of small terror attacks, mostly against clerics and by-passers suspected of being members of Basij. – There was some gatherings and destruction inside some universities. – This events has nothing to do with freedom or rights of women. If you use foul language against the female family members of the people you perceive as your opponent or attack women who observe Hijab as a religious duty, then there’s a chance that you are in fact, a misogynist with no regards for well-being of women or someone who can’t tolerate any other creed. – What we see first hand is not something serious. In social media a raging revolution is ongoing and the Iranian government falls everyday and the country’s leader flee a couple of times per day. It is just to push the country into giving some concessions and more importantly create an image of insecurity to disrupt the transportation corridors. These corridors have enormous benefits for Iran, in a few short years the country’s benefits from them will rival or even surpass the sales of energy. In addition, the participating partner countries will see Iran’s security as their own and any threat against Iran as a threat against their own interests, so the corridors mustn’t go ahead.

But about this nonsense of WSJ: – If the assessment of a threat was real, the first thing they’d do was to instruct their citizens to leave the hotspot. Did it happen? – Although Saudi regime did everything they could (by providing funds, propaganda outlets, troll farms, etc.) to create an unsuccessful unrest in Iran, politics is not black and white. Saudis (and some other regimes) need to be punished, yes. But the punishment shouldn’t be as sever as to push them back into the American arms again, not now that they seem to have a backbone against American orders and are warming up daily to Russians and Chinese. So a balanced response will be Iran’s answer because in the long run, kicking Americans from the region is much more important than a knee-jerk reaction to polish our ego. – Iran is not shy to say we intend to do something. If attacking the Saudis was in agenda, we’d hear it clearly from the president and Ayatollah Khamenei. Our government is much more sober and calculating and knows a diversion by attacking a neighbour is not going to fill the gap between part of population and the government. – And as always, if such attack happens, who will benefit most from it? Who really needs a diversion from their internal problems with yet another war or threat of war?

Shades of the worship of the Americans bringing Freedom and Democracy after murdering 10s of thousands of innocent civilians the first months in Baghdad post 9/11 excuse with the pulling down of the bronze Saddam Hussein which was of course staged with less than 4 dozen bought and paid for that probably weren’t even Iraqi, while the US Army started looting Iraq from it’s physical gold replacing it with wooden pallets of billions of even then worthle$$ $100.00 bills… Always good seeing your avatar Garga!

But the one true deviation that is ever present compared to 20 years ago is the level of desperation with “YES” suicidal tendencies of Pox Americana… Especially when you say anything about physical vs paper PM https://www.zerohedge.com/commodities/gold-market-roiled-mystery-buyer-waves-300-tonnes … And what is happening to the Western economic “engine” in earnest 78 years later https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/were-end-major-era-von-greyerz-warns-25-quadrillion-disaster-waiting-happen

I see False Flag preparation. Iran has its own internal problems, not going to provoke some foreign intervention above all. Oil price is up, flow of oil goes steadily, military deal with Russia concluded. Not time for confrontation even with Israel.

Iran raised the Red flag after the terror attack in Iran…so someone is in their crosshairs. Yemen is being pushed into confrontation by KSA, UAE yet. KSA and UAE are like the US, using their resources to encourage unrest (‘regime’ change) in Iran and other countries in the region. They aren’t going to stop their interference until they are forced to or they are unable to. Of course, this also gives the US some leverage in their little squabble with KSA…although the US also cannot afford any disruption to KSA oil. Seems Iran’s best bet is to coordinate with Yemen and attack those stealing Yemeni resources and the new arrivals of US troops in Yemen…combined with a concerted effort on production/military targets in KSA and UAE. Neither of these 2 countries (or the west) will ever change their attitude towards Iran or Yemen…at least as long as they believe the west will defend them and they will, as it’s in the west’s own best interests. Iranian systems/designs performance in Ukr have been outstanding and KSA and UAE should take note and change sides, but they won’t because they are both a western creation and are controlled by Israel, just as the rest of the west is. The sooner Iran takes them on, the better. Any time given before will only result in more fortified targets…as occurred in Ukr. As for oil/gas prices, they would really soar, the western economies would contract rapidly and countries resources, such as Venezuela (and Iran), would be in very high demand and the US could be forced to drop all those nasty sanctions. Such a development could also cause US sanctions to be ignored, whether the US dropped them or not. It would also do to the US/NATO/EU exactly what the west is now claiming about Russia…that it is isolated. Seems this situation is very much like the Ukr…Russia tried diplomacy for 8 long years to no avail. Iran has been dealing with these two-faced liars far longer. Just as Russia put a plan in motion, when they saw the writing on the wall, so will Iran. It won’t be a question of if, but when. In that case, as Iran’s superior tech and massive inventory of weapons is now unquestioned, they should also look at how Ukr became a fortified military area because Russia tried diplomacy for too long…and still had to go to war. Regardless all the blather of talks, there is no doubt there can be no agreements as they are no different than the US/NATO…they are not agreement capable. One look at how KSA continued to violate Yemen truce daily and still blocks legal shipments of food and oil in violation is a perfect example.

You know what’s funny, the whole NATO/US send Ukraine their “game changer weapons” and all of those failed and were useless, Iran sends their drone blueprint with some parts to Russia and Ukraine and the whole of NATO is sacred like hoes.

Also, this was planned out beforehand, The US, Zionists, and Wahhabis are looking to attack Iran.

I mean, “Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Imran Khan wounded in ‘assassination attempt’”.

Some of you might know that The US and their pigs think Russia is weaker now in the Middle East and they believe they could start another war.

(Iran gave their drone blueprint) -> It seems like they did give Russia their drone blueprint and Russia is making the drone on its own. If you believe Ukraine or not it doesn’t matter but they mentioned that some parts of these drones are from the US and Ukraine.

Iran has been saying they didn’t send/sell any drones to Russia, and Iran isn’t using parts imported from Ukraine or the US for their drones (it is very unlikely)… but if Russia making these drones that would make sense.

What is Russia, China and India prepared to do that is necessary in defending both Syria and Iran by telling the UN an attack on Iran is an attack on the Russian Federation, PRC and India!

India is still the bitch of the US and West, the West is not sanctioning India for buying/supporting Russia right now because they want to use India later on against China. I don’t think you know much about Modi or his government, they would happily die for white and Zionists.

China isn’t going to war for Iran, they would 100% support Iran but nothing more than that, it is the same case for Russia. The US/NATO can’t invade Iran, it is too late for that, they would get killed like rats if they dare to attack Iran.

This whole fake shit is because they think they getting the “support” of their people to not care if they attack Iran soldiers in Syria, Iraq, or Lebanon. I don’t think anything big going to happen anytime soon.

Ahhhh, that wasn’t my point. I was mainly talking about how Modi and his government very much dislike Muslim countries, how India openly supports Zionist-stan, and Modi’s government killing Indian Muslims (in India).

I don’t understand why would you think India would disobey their rulers. The only reason India works with Muslim countries is that they have deals or need something from them. India is very much a pro-Western country overall.

P.S. I’m talking about the Indian government and not the people.

JJ345

I almost forgot, the US, Mossad, and MI6, might do a false flag inside of KSA and blame it on Iran. As far as I’m aware the Zionists are planning something in KSA.

Matt

Which is why Building 7 should have seen Russia, China and India “united” in a UN Security Council demand for an international investigation of Ground Zero!?… But to your point about the “dot head” and “Charlie Chan” they love them Angl0-Zi0ni$t “deals”…

Here comes one now that will have at least two of them staying out of it! https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/un-security-council-votes-down-probe-biolabs-ukraine

Matt trust me, I know about that BS 9/11 joke. Over the years I find out it doesn’t fuking matter, you can kill 10,000 yanquis and tell them it was a bigfoot from Russia and they would believe it.

There is so much BS from 9/11 I can tell you and I’m sure you know most of them. China, Russia, and India can all say it was fake and the US/Zionists/Wahhabis were behind it, and trust me nothing would change.

Matt

To your “pointed” point then… We’re ALL FUCKED!…

Because these exchanges and False Flags can never stop if nobody within the Ca$in0 of “Team UN” doesn’t obey their own rules when they happen!…

This begs the question of “why” Russia stays at the UN in it’s current form since Maidan 2014 and just keeps taking it up the a$$ for “more”… And the only answer I can come up with is that the Russian Central Bank and it’s energy are making more profit by allowing the BOE/Federal Reserve to set the price for them… Which means the Russian Federation’s CB is in control of the price of commodities… And they want to keep it that way just like their Western counterparts instead of allowing those market(s) to regulation the price!!!

“The enemy of my enemy is my friend” Iran and Saudi Arabia have their differences which can wait till later. The common foe of both is the US.

The US acknowledges it has no effective offensive options against Iran. Their idea is not to set foot in Iran because their own projections show it to be a massacre of US troops, but they would have no choice because the Iranian missile capabilities are buried throughout their country like a huge fortress with unlimited firepower, almost all of which can kill and maim US troops continuously until they try to take out the launchers, whereupon US troops get ambushed and killed in even greater numbers in the process. Iran has turned itself into a huge rat trap for the US rat to die in.
