On September 14, the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) stormed the town of al-Baghuz al-Fawqani, in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside, and captured ten positions inside it following heavy clashes with ISIS fighters, according to the SDF’s media center. Thirteen terrorists were reportedly killed during the clashes inside the town.
The SDF also repelled an ISIS attack on its positions around the town of al-Susah. After repelling the attack, US-backed forces advanced 1km towards the ISIS-held town.
Warplanes and rocket launchers of the US-led coalition supported the SDF offensive and struck several positions of ISIS in al-Baghuz al-Fawqani and the nearby town of Shaafah. The SDF’s media center said several headquarters, artillery pieces and vehicles of the terrorist group were destroyed in the coalition strikes.
The US-led coalition and the SDF launched a joint military operation against the ISIS-held pocket on the eastern bank of the Euphrates river on September 11. The main target of the operation is the town of Hajin, which is the last stronghold of the terrorist group in Syria.
Storm it with what, pallets of food and empty blackhawk helicopters?
Exactly. Even Southfront is FOS. Every such US attack has been for show and preannounced, allowing ISIS members time for their assigned redeployments and most often into SDF ranks. If the axis money (mainly US,UK, SA, & Israel) was to be cut off from these mercs, the war would immediately cease. For a lasting peace in Syria what has to completely disappear are any trace of these nations and their money.
Assad prefers to use buses.
Looks like the SDF will be attempting to divide that strip in two at al-Susah. That should draw ISIS fighters in from the north and south to prevent their loss of the road network along the river.
Zionist BULLSHIT.
You have a mirror looking at Your behind and up to Your brain. Are You sure. Try a flashlight or a candle next time.
I am sure some Zionists are very proud being branded by You so well.
Well, it’s the same as when the Russian-backed Alewite militias of Bashar al-Asad al-Lunduni attack ‘ISIS’ in the south-west… in reality, they just kick the local population around, which refuses to serve in the offensive against Idlib.
