The VPK-7829 Bumerang is a modular wheeled armoured vehicle, which is being developed by Russian Military Industrial Company (MIC) for the Russian Armed Forces. The vehicle exists in infantry fighting vehicle and armored personnel carrier variants.

Another easy target for drones
Another easy target for a state of the art air defense.
not at all..these vehicles have interchangeable modules and Russians maybe will mount air defense turret just like germans are doing in their Boxer with Oerlikon Sky-ranger..
It seems all Russian wheeled and tracked APCs have significant fire power with the 30mm and 57mm guns and ATGM launchers. That is great, bringing on the scene hundreds or thousands of vehicles that have lethal killing capacity.
30mm is only for the moment, Bumerang and many other new gen. APCs will switch to 57mm only in the near future.
is it amphibius ?
I think so yes, Russia usually makes everything except MBT’s fully amphibious.
