Hezbollah carried out a series of attacks against the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) on February 9, targeting a military site in the Israeli-occupied Syrian Golan Heights for the first time since the start of the current confrontation on the backdrop of the war in the Gaza Strip.
In separate statements, Hezbollah said that its fighters targeted surveillance equipment in the Doviev barracks as well as the sites of Ramta and al-Malikiyah. The group also announced that it had shelled the sites of al-Malikiyah, Zabdin and Bayad Blida. Moreover, it said that its fighters had destroyed a Merkava main battle tank at the Al-Baghdadi site.
Hezbollah also announced that it had fired dozens of Katyusha rockets from southern Lebanon at the Kaila barracks in the Golan Heights.
The attacks were carried out “to support the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their brave and honorable resistance,” Hezbollah noted its statements.
Hebrew media said that some 30 rockets were fired from southern Lebanon at the Galilee Panhandle. Some of the rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense systems, while others fell in open areas. There were no reports of casualties.
From its side, the IDF said that it struck a multiple rocket launcher in the southern Lebanese town of Qalaat Debba that was used to carry out the attack. Fighter jets also hit another Hezbollah building in the town of Khiam.
Earlier, the IDF said that fighter jets carried out strikes against Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, including a complex where the group’s fighters were gathered in the town of Maroun al-Ras. Three more buildings used by Hezbollah in the towns of Yohmor and Naqoura were also hit.
Lebanese media didn’t report any civilian casualties. However, Hezbollah said that one of its fighters was killed “on the road to Jerusalem,” a phrase usually used to refer to members killed by the IDF during the ongoing confrontation.
The clashes on the Lebanese-Israeli border first broke out after the start of the war in Gaza, with Hezbollah and its allies carrying out attacks in support of the Strip.
As of February 9, the clashes on the Lebanese-Israeli border have resulted in six civilian deaths on the Israeli side, as well as the deaths of nine IDF soldiers. On the Lebanese side, more than 200 have been killed. The toll includes 174 Hezbollah fighters, 14 of whom were killed in Syria, 28 Palestinians, a Lebanese soldier, and at least 25 civilians.
sf you guys are slow nowadays – i’m sure you can find the video of hezbollah missiles hitting their targets – you know where i got those videos from? zionists themselves post them.
also, these moronic zionists showing piss dome locations… hello…?
israel conquered the golan heights in june 1967. so, they have owned them for more than 55 years. that is longer than syria owned them; from 1944 to 1967.
the thing is, “israel” itself is an occupied territory in palestine that is in fact a european colony.
i have wondered, are they wailing about the sins their ancestors committed that led to the exile or are they wailing about the punishment and loss? daniel felt remorse for the multitude of sins which led to the exile.
good on hezbollah 👍.
unfortunately it has to said that there are just too many p*ssy presidents around at the moment. if assad was a true ‘basher’ he would have given yoosa helll from day 1 and demanded rus allows syr to use the chocolate-fireguard s300s instead of them being switched off when murika or zioland attacks.
then again, is p any less of a p*ssy president?
that’s right baby, just whack snout satans.
