Hezbollah Sets Israeli Army Headquarters On Fire With 200 Rockets, Drones (Videos)

Hezbollah launched on July 4 more than 200 rockets and suicide drones at key sites of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) in retaliation to the recent assassination of its senior military commander Muhammad Nimah Nasser and in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

In two separate statements, the Lebanese group said that its rockets and missiles targeted the following Israeli military sites:

  • The headquarters of the 91st Division in Ayelet barracks;
  • The headquarters of the 7th Armored Brigade in Katsavia barracks;
  • The headquarters of the Armored Battalion of the 7th Brigade in Gamla barracks;
  • The headquarters of the 210th Division “Golan Division” at Nafah base;
  • The headquarters of the Artillery Regiment of the 210th Division in Yarden barracks;
  • The headquarters of the Northern Command at Dadu base;
  • The headquarters of the Hermon Brigade 810 in Maale Golani barracks;
  • The headquarters of the Egoz unit in the Shraga barracks
  • The he headquarters of the Golani Brigade;
  • The main base of the 146th Ilania Division;
  • The Mishar Northern Region Intelligence base.

Rocket and drone warning sirens went off in dozens of settlements in northern Israel, the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms and the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.

Videos posted to social networks showed failed interception attempts by the Iron Dome air defense system and fighter jets, multiple fires on the ground and helicopters evacuating casualties to hospitals in northern Israel.

A soldier was killed and several other people, including civilians, were wounded, according to unverified reports in Hebrew media.

From its side, the IDF said that Hezbollah launched at least 160 rockets and 15 drones from Lebanon at Israel. Some of the drones were shot down, according to the IDF, which also announced a series of retaliatory strikes against targets in southern Lebanon, including multiple rocket launchers. Hezbollah mourned a fighter after the Israeli strikes.

The IDF acknowledged on July 4 that it was behind a strike that killed Hezbollah senior commander Nasser, who headed one of the group’s three regional divisions in southern Lebanon. In an initial response, Hezbollah fired dozens of rockets at several Israeli military sites a few hours after the deadly strike which took place in the southern city of Tyre.

The clashes on the Lebanese-Israeli border first broke out after the start of the war in Gaza last October, with Hezbollah and its allies carrying out attacks in support of the Strip.

So far, the border clashes have resulted in ten civilian deaths on the Israeli side, as well as the deaths of at least 15 IDF soldiers and reservists. On the Lebanese side, more than 500 people have been killed, including 343 fighters of Hezbollah and at least 90 civilians.

Israel could use Hezbollah’s large-scale response to the assassination of its commander as a pretext to further escalate its strikes against Lebanon, or even launch a fully-fledged offensive against the group in the country.

the tamir missile of the iron dome can destroy a maneuvring target. but as every system it has a weakness : the numbers of tamir missiles is limited.

israel is a powder keg, and it has met its ‘match’ ;)

i think after the “debate” in the usa, everybody can see what the evil empire has become. israel the parasite and the euro vassals have handcuffed themselves to this lunatic asylum. if you think these people are smart, i have an epstein island plane ticket to sell you

quite a bad comparison ratio in dead israel vs dead lebanese.

in the video, all you could see were pieces of the intercepted missiles falling and the fires caused by them. but maybe someone also hit the target there, if they say so…

i think the number of rockets fired at one time is still too small. the anti-missile capability is limited, but the number of missiles that can be launched at once can easily be increased. rather, they collect bigger pops to launch at once.

V2 for Victory

just a bm-21 can fire 40 rockets at once. a six systems battery can fire 240. firing just 200 is effectively a joke, and you are right, no saturation effect can be obtained reliably.
