On the evening of November 5, large explosions thundered in the village of Sedovo located on the coast of the Sea of Azov in the DPR.
The local residents shared videos from the area, confirming the large scale of the explosions.
The Russian Ministry of Defense did not comment on the incident. Local officials also did not disclose any details.
Russian military reporters supposed that the explosions were the result of detonation of an ammo depot. Footage from the spot showed secondary detonation in the area. Preliminary reports indicated the possibility of an incident which could be caused by some short-circuit fault which provoked fire.
The Ukrainian side made statements about the alleged attack, but the launch of any missiles towards the village was not confirmed. An operation of pro-Ukrainian saboteurs should not be excluded.
