UPDATED: Some important details of the Ukrainian assault operation in Crimea were revealed. The camera installed in the local civilian camping that was attacked by the Ukrainians filmed the incident. It turned out that the brave Ukrainian Special Forces were threatened by a brave Crimean tourist, who met them with a rifle.
Since the Ukrainian attack was aimed exclusively at taking photos, without attracting any attention of the Russian military, they immediately escaped to avoid fighting with the civilian. Despite Kiev’s lies about numerous trophies allegedly gained in a battle, the AFU escaped immediately and lost their weapons:

Retreating Ukrainian servicemen hastily opened fire from machine guns, covering their retreat. They targeted the civilian camping. Fortunately, no one was injured. The Russian military did not open fire on the Ukrainian grouping in order not to pose threat to civilians. However, the Ukrainian boats were shelled and up to 25 servicemen were destroyed.

The Kiev regime celebrated the Independence Day with another provocation on the Russian territory. On the night of August 24, a group of Ukrainian saboteurs landed on the western coast of the Crimean peninsula.
The operation was allegedly confirmed by the footage shared by Kiev. The video shows a group of Ukrainian Special Forces on boats armed with US-made M2 Browning machine guns and Mk19 automatic grenade launchers. They are seen installing their flag on an unidentified building, shelling in the air and escaping. The civilian camping located on the Cape Tarkhankut reportedly came under fire.
Some sources claimed that the group suffered losses, some others reported that they fled too fast without casualties. Some Israeli sources reported that the AFU attempted to evacuate the sabotage group that had previously attacked the positions of the Russian air defense.
Russian law enforcement agencies call both news fake. However, the goal of the Kiev regime was to gain at least some hype, even they are fake.
The operation was nothing but a media campaign dedicated to the Independence Day. If not staged, the attack brought no military results. However, if confirmed, the fact that Ukrainian military can reach Crimea by sea questions the security of the peninsula, where the strategically important facilities of the Russian military are deployed.
On August 23, the AFU declared the destruction of Russian air defence system on the Cape Tarkhankut. LINK In response, the Russian military shared footage of two Russian Su-34 bombers destroying Ukrainian air defence systems with X-35 missiles ear the village of Zeleny Gai in the Mykolaiv region. Judging by the video, two launchers, a radar station and a combat control point were destroyed. The attack was filmed simultaneously by two Russian drones.

ukrainians entered crimea on ukr national flag day. (landing there via helicopter) killed several ruskies, put the ukrainian national flag into crimean earth and savely returned via boats to ukrainian held territory. also just a symbolic act, it shows the courage & determination of ukr to free crimea, and it shows that ru defence isn t fit to challenge ukr special forces. to achieve this landing ukr had destroyed ru s-400 aa in that area 2 days before.
