- On March 17, Taliban Defence Minister, Mullah Yaqoob visited the Afghanistan-Pakistan border during his visit of southwestern zone of Afghanistan;
- On March 16, a student was injured in a terrorist blast near Badakhshan University;
- On March 16, Forces loyal to Ahmad Massoud reportedly attacked Taliban position in Hissah Awwal district;
- On March 15, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Administrative Deputy Prime Minister of the Taliban met with Filippo Grandi, UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Kabul.
This would be the first time I’ve heard of Alipour’s forces on Wardak going on the offensive.

This will never stop being hilarious in a darkly comic way. Twenty years of the combined might of NATO ensured only that Taliban would control the whole of Afghanistan. Hopefully the Afghan people all enjoy living in the stone age. We know the American people enjoy opiates. Well done NATO!
