In the direction of Kostiantynivka, Russian units have cleared the northern part of the city and are fighting in the zinc plant’s industrial zone. They are also advancing toward the northern part of Kostiantynivka from the west. In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian troops are regrouping following unsuccessful attacks. Meanwhile, Russian troops are clearing the northern flank, repelling infiltration groups and advancing towards Huliaipilske and Vovshebne. In the Sumy direction, the “North” grouping’s assault groups advanced 250 meters and repelled the Ukrainian command’s attempts to form composite assault groups in the Bachivsk area. In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops advanced toward Lyptsi, Vovchansk, and Velykyi Burluk, forcing Ukrainian units out of Verkhnya Pysarivka and continuing the offensive toward Rubizhne. In the Krasnyi Lyman direction, Russian troops are employing infiltration tactics to expand the “grey zone” west of Dibrova towards Staryi Karavan and Brusivka. Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico called on the European Union to engage in dialogue with Russia, abandon restrictions on importing Russian energy resources, and restore operation of the Druzhba pipeline.
Zaporizhzhia Direction
Ukrainian units are regrouping following unsuccessful attacks at the Dnipropetrovsk-Zaporizhzhia regional border. Earlier, they managed to infiltrate Russian formations for a while, but could not establish a foothold. Meanwhile, units of the “East” troop grouping are continuing to clear the northern flank and destroy Ukrainian infiltration groups, which are still being encountered occasionally.
The Ukrainian side denies Russian control over Boikove and has published footage showing their units in the village. However, these are most likely archival footage. Ukrainian units have previously used this method to conceal the advance of Russian troops.
In the Rozhdestvenske area, Ukrainian counterattacks have not succeeded. Russian assault groups are advancing west and south again. There have been reports of Russian unit attacks toward Vozdvizhevka from the Tsvitkove direction, but these have not yet been confirmed by objective control footage.
In the southern sector, Russian units remain in the lead. Small assault groups are successfully advancing toward Huliaipilske and Vovshebne and have established control over several tree lines in the Myrne area.
A high concentration of air assault and separate assault units, prioritizing replenishment, enabled the Ukrainian side to launch large-scale counterattacks. However, these assaults only temporarily slowed the Russian advance in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Sumy Direction
In the Sumy direction, the “North” grouping’s assault groups continue to fight fiercely, advancing deeper into the area. Russian troops struck Ukrainian unit personnel and equipment concentrations in the Khrapivshchyna, Bachivsk, Velykyi Prikol, and Khotyn areas. Assault groups advanced fifteen sections in the Sumy district, advancing up to 250 meters over the day.
In the Shostka district, the Ukrainian command continues forming composite assault groups from the 33rd and 210th Separate Assault Regiments in the Bachivsk area. Russian units detected the movement of personnel and engaged them with fire. During intense firefights in the forested border areas, Russian assault troops advanced up to 200 meters.
The Ukrainian command continues to transfer personnel from other sectors of the front to the Sumy district. Drone crews from the 101st Separate Territorial Defense Brigade in the Velykyi Burluk district of the Kharkiv region have been transferred to the Sumy region.
Kharkiv Direction
In the Kharkiv direction, the “North” grouping’s assault groups continue to fight fiercely, pushing Ukrainian units back from the state border. Russian troops struck concentrations of personnel and equipment in Kharkiv, Kozacha Lopan, Svitlychne, Pysarivka, Ternova, Izbitske, Vesele, Oleksandrivka, and Ud.
In the direction of Lyptsi, Russian assault troops advanced up to 250 meters on two sections during intense firefights. In the Vovchansk area, assault groups advanced up to 200 meters on eight fronts. In the Velykyi Burluk area, Russian troops advanced up to 300 meters on two fronts after overcoming resistance. Following a series of counterattacks in the Ambarnoye area resulting in significant losses, Ukrainian units are focusing on maintaining their positions.
Troops of the “North” grouping continue to advance towards Rubizhne and are attacking east of Vovchanski Khutory. Despite Ukrainian efforts, Russian troops have pushed Ukrainian forces out of Verkhnya Pysarivka and are advancing through the forested area towards Losivka and Buhayivka to secure their flanks before fighting for Rubizhne begins. Control must also be established over a large forested area in the interflow of the Siverskyi Donets and Starytsia rivers, north of Rubizhne. Fighting continues on the outskirts of Vilcha and in the central and eastern parts of Vovchanski Khutory. Ukrainian units are constantly counterattacking along ravines from the direction of Bilyi Kolodiaz. Meanwhile, east of Vovchanski Khutory, Russian troops are fighting for control of Bochkove and Okhrimivka. This would allow them to flank Ukrainian units defending Vovchanski Khutory and Zybine. It would also enable them to reach the rear of Ukrainian forces fighting in the Varvarivka–Pishchane–Nesterne area.
Kostiantynivka Direction
In the direction of Kostiantynivka, units of the “South” troop grouping are fighting to capture the city and repel counterattacks by Ukrainian troops on the western outskirts of Chasiv Yar.
After breaking through to the industrial zone in the center of Kostiantynivka, Russian troops reached and cleared its northern part. Fighting continues for control of the zinc plant’s industrial zone. Russian units have entered the residential area west and south of Tsynkovyi Park from the industrial zone and consolidated there. Russian assault groups are advancing toward Ukrainian troops attacking from the western outskirts of Illinivka. Several assault groups are operating in the Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Street and Lomonosov Avenue area. There is ongoing fighting in the area of the railway station, as well as in the southern and eastern parts of the city.
Russian units advancing from Stepanivka have reached the southern part of Dovha Balka. Drones and artillery are intensively targeting Dovha Balka. Controlling it would allow Russian troops to reach the northern part of Kostiantynivka from the west, in the Osykove area, and open an exit to Mykolaipol.
Northeast of Kostiantynivka, Ukrainian troops continue to defend a fortified area in the Mykolaivka and Chervone regions. Assault groups attempt to infiltrate Chasiv Yar from this area. Fierce fighting continues in Novodmytrivka, on the northeastern outskirts of Kostiantynivka.
Krasnyi Lyman Direction
In the direction of Krasnyi Lyman, Russian units are employing infiltration tactics to expand the “grey zone” and put pressure on Krasnyi Lyman. In the sector west of Dibrova, Russian troops are employing small-group tactics. These maneuvers aim to gradually penetrate Ukrainian positions and consistently expand the “grey zone” towards Staryi Karavan and Brusivka. This strategy erodes the unified front line, creating constant pressure on the defending forces and forcing them to disperse their resources.
Russian units are continuing offensive operations in the Krasnyi Lyman area. The main goal is to pressure Ukrainian units into leaving the settlement. These operations also aim to reduce the Ukrainian forces’ bridgehead on the eastern bank of the Oskol River and straighten the front line overall. Successful implementation of these tasks will facilitate the further advance of Russian forces in this direction.
Conclusion
Analysis of the operational situation indicates that high-intensity combat operations persist in all directions. In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian troops continue to clear and advance towards Huliaipilske and Vovshebne, despite unsuccessful Ukrainian counterattacks. In the Sumy direction, the “North” group is systematically advancing and repelling Ukrainian attempts to form composite assault groups. In the Kharkiv direction, Russian troops have captured Verkhnya Pysarivka and are advancing on Rubizhne. They are also advancing on the Lyptsi and Velykyi Burluk sectors. In the Kostiantynivka direction, Russian troops have cleared the northern part of the city and are fighting in the industrial zone. They are also advancing from the west, threatening to encircle the city. In the Krasnyi Lyman direction, small groups are using infiltration tactics to expand the “grey zone” and put pressure on Krasnyi Lyman.
An important event in the international political context was the statement by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. He urged the European Union to engage in dialogue with Russia and abandon restrictions on importing Russian energy resources. Fico emphasized that the European Union risks being left with empty gas stations by refusing Russian oil for ideological reasons. He believes that restoring the operation of the Druzhba pipeline would stabilize prices and increase the region’s energy security. Fico stated that all sanctions prohibiting the import of gas and oil from Russia should be lifted and that the EU should launch an independent initiative to accelerate the end of the conflict in Ukraine.
Fico’s statement reflects the growing rift within the European Union regarding energy policy and support for Ukraine. Following the example of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Fico consistently advocates for protecting national economic interests and resuming Russian energy supplies. This creates additional risks for EU unity and could lead to a further weakening of the sanctions regime against Russia. Against the backdrop of Russian troops’ successful offensive in all directions, such statements increase pressure on Kyiv, undermining its hopes for unconditional support from Western partners and pushing it toward negotiated solutions.

the russian admin is winning on all fronts. not just militarily, but economically, politically, technologically, and morally. the best nato’s nazis can do, is now reduced to spasmodic guerilla actions. when one looks at the gorilla’s in charge, this giant failure of aggressive warmongering by the usadmin and its nato poodles isn’t surprising. it seems beating one’s chest and marching in torchlight processions doesn’t make one immortal or cleverer than the next bloke.
ukrainians will fight to the death!!!
this explains why 12 million ukies have fled nazi ukraine since 2022
and another 200 million have emigrated since ww2.
