On the evening of June 6, an UAV was shot down in the eastern part of the Crimean peninsula. Footage from the area allowed to suppose that it was likely an Iranian-mande Mohajer-6 mistakenly intercepted by Russian forces.
The use of Mohajer-6 in Ukrainian hostilities was first reported in September 2022. LINK They are likely adjusting strikes of Russia’s Geranium-2 (Iranian Shahed-136) suicide drones throughout Ukraine.
Mohajer-6 has been produced since 2017. The UAV is aimed at reconnaissance, surveillance and attacks. It may carry up to 4 high-precision ammunition. Its flight range is up to 200 km at a speed of 200 km/h. The UAV may fly up to 12 hours with the maximum flight altitude of 5400 m.
