It was critical for President Putin to attempt a fair treaty with Ukraine in order to bring his increasing allies along the path to peace. The first path to peace has been ignored by the US and UK and the next path is likely to be an Anti Terrorist Operation that could well involve selected terror planners and groups within and without Ukraine.
The third path is the most dangerous and will also involve the mass protests of people in NATO LaLa land.
