On July 12, several videos documenting recent combat operations by the Russian military in the special military operation zone were posted to social networks.
Eight of the videos show dozens of attacks with FPV suicide drones, grenade-dropping drones, and interceptor drones that targeted Ukrainian troops, posts and equipment, in Donetsk, Luhansk and several other directions.
Another video shows a grenade-dropping drone being used to clear landmines planted by Ukrainian troops on a key route in Donetsk.
Two more videos show recent airstrikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that targeted a crossing on the Oskol River near the settlement of Kupyansk-Uzlovaya in the Kharkiv direction and another on the Vovcha River near the settlement of Velikomikhailovka in the Dnipropetrovsk direction.
Three additional videos show more strikes with UMPK-equipped guided glide bombs that targeted Ukrainian positions and fortifications near the settlements of Shakhovo in Donetsk, Andreevka in the Sumy direction and Kamyshevakha in the direction of Zaporizhzhia.
In addition, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced in its daily briefing that missile and drone strikes hit “the TCCs [Territorial Center of Recruitment and Social Support], as well as temporary deployment points of the AFU [Armed Forces of Ukraine] formations and foreign mercenaries” in 133 areas over the past 24 hours.
The ministry added that Russian air defense systems shot down two guided aerial bombs and 189 fixed-wing drones during the same period.
According to the ministry, Kiev forces have lost 663 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 69,155 drones, 614 air defense systems, 24,194 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 1,576 multiple rocket launchers, 27,284 artillery pieces, and 38,029 support vehicles since the start of the special military operation.
