Trump And Putin May Discuss US Withdrawal From Al-Tanaf During Upcoming Summit

US forces in the Syrian town of al-Tanaf, by Hammurabi’s Justice News

Russia’s Present Vladimir Putin and his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump may discuss a possible withdrawal of U.S. troops from the US-led coalition base in the town of al-Tanaf near the Syrian-Iraqi border during the upcoming summit, the Syrian Hammurabi’s Justice News blog reported on July 5.

According to the pro-opposition blog, which is well-known for its close ties with the US-led coalition and Free Syrian Army (FSA) commanders in al-Tanaf, the U.S. will demand an Iranian withdrawal from several areas in Syria in exchange for a withdrawal its troops from al-Tanaf and other areas.

Hammurabi’s Justice News clarified that the US Army has no plans to withdraw from al-Tanaf as for now. The blog added that the possible withdraw from the base is a part of the White House agenda.

Putin and Trump are set to meet in the Finish capital of Helsinki on July 16. During the meeting both leaders will discuss the situation in Syria, Ukraine and Iran in details, according to Russian and U.S. sources.

Many local observers believe that Russia and the U.S. may reach a general deal on the future of Syria during the summit.

CORRECTION: They must discuss!

Jim Prendergast

Let us hope for a good negotiated settlement that honours all sides, particularly the Syrian.

alejoeisabel

If anyone is looking for a smoking gun, here it is. The US putting Special Forces on behalf of Israel. Russia CANNOT make Syria limit the scope of its alliance with Iran. That is a issue between Syria and Israel ONLY. If Israel wants Iran OUT of Syria, then there must be a peace treaty with Syria. As long as there is no peace between Israel and Syria, Syria can do what is best for its national security. Russia can only negotiate on its own behalf not Syria’s. The Syrian negotiating position is simple, if the Israelis leave the occupied Syrian Golan Height then Iran will leave Syria; otherwise NO DEAL.

SurfshackTito

My Demands Cuz, though not likely to be met.

1. US withdraw all forces from Syria, SDF Territory and Al Tanf. 2. Israel must return the Golan Heights to syria under the condition that the Syrian State will not try anything funny in return. 3. US must give billions of dollars to the Syrian Government to help reconstruct the country from the ashes. 4. US must also Lift any sanctions or any embargo on the Syrian Government in order for demand in basic needs to be met. 5. Let the Syrian State and its allies deal with ISIS. 6. Let Iraq and Syria open their border crossings again so humanitarian aid can be free to enter the country. 7. Repeal the No Assistance for Assad Act 8. Let the SDF and SAA negotiate without any meddling 9 and FINAL. Complete End to support for the Syrian Opposition.

You can call me Al

Could I add a number 10 & 11. Please ?.

10. If the Yankers dont fuck off, stop supporting vermin, they shall be eliminated before the end of the World cup.

11. England to win the WC, overthrow our government in a revolution, deport all immigrants that have been in the Country less than 5 years and / or are useless gimps then ask President Putin to somehow annex the UK, but giving us our freedom, without interference like the EU Sh1t heads.

Promitheas Apollonious

BUT ……………… if they win the WC and then throw all the immigrants out you be throwing out half, if not more, of your national football team. :-)

Rüdiger Preiss

Haha spot on :D! Al, you Brits really have no reason to complain – you have been exploiting literally every corner of this world. This is for you, Al … apologies for the bad quality, if you do Netflix there’s a better one ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aUuk3b3hwA&t=15s

Val Shadowhawk

YES!! Good adds!!

russ

Maybe Putin can annex the United States also that would be the best thing to happen to us in a hundred years.

russ

After that bridge that they made into Crimea obviously Russian could fix our roads.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Kerch Bridge. Yes Putin recently had the official opening and Porkyshenko unveiled a road sign the same day.

as

Actually country with steadfast social structure like Russia would refrain from absorbing too much of ‘colorful’ people in the west. A little weren’t a problem the problem is when they’re large enough to convince themselves that they’re normal when they’re not.

John Mason

I will have to think about your demands, can’t guarantee it will be met but rest assured I will give it ‘some’ consideration. Hope UK wins World Cup also.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Al’s demand on England winning the can’t be met as they will need to beat better teams and them being high on GO Kane will not work.

John Mason

Over the years I have barracked for Germany and England, now that Germany is out that leaves England. Both teams play a hard, tough and physical game.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Well for me in my City we have both large groups of Serbs and Croatians they cheer for each others teams and leave politics out between friends. Not many English/Brits here largely Eastern Europeans. But have people I know who played in Europe under 23 teams and several South American players and Italian who played on the 1962 World Cup team knew a friend of Owen Hargreaves played in the in Germany with him.

John Mason

I have lived/worked in Austria, Germany, Italy, France and Spain and I tend to agree with you that when it comes to football all politics are put aside and you debate and defend your team, good comradeship.

Feudalism Victory

You know making demands you know the other side wont meet is a waste of time. The us wont give up its leverage unless something fair is offered in return. Im not sure what Trump and or the us military thinks is fair. I do know iran isnt something russia has thr power to offer though. They seem pretty independant and competitors to russia.

SurfshackTito

I’m just expressing myself cuz. No hard feelings.

Feudalism Victory

None here either. I understand why you wrote the list.

Rüdiger Preiss

Great list, but most points must be US & UK. the UK has been meddling in Syria just as much if not more (White Helmets, SOHR, BoJo, Salisbury chem lab., Special Forces, RAF, etc.)

1. I am not sure Al Tanaf hurts Syria much … It costs the US & UK a lot of money and hasn’t achieved what it meant to (control over the Iraqi-Syrian border). Sooner or later they will vanish themselves (after claiming it to be a “huge success” of course). I wouldn’t give a rat about them for now.

6. The border crossings between Iraq and Syria are open (also Al Tanaf). For civilian traffic at least.

10. ErdoEmpire trolls go back to Turkey and whilst you are at it, let your population of the entire SouthEast of Turkey decide whether they want to be Turkish or proclaim their own country, Kurdistan.

as

Golan heights are colonized as in they’re settled with Israeli immigrants so immediate return are unlikely. They can of course begins the progress to return them under said negotiations but looking at the chickenshit Israeli leadership that’s more unlikely especially when they got to know there’s oil reserve under.

For point 3 assad said no western help. I think its a wise position, western help means western leverage.

Unlike Iran, Russia and the Lebanese Hezbollah, the United States was never invited into Syria, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Chile, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Korea, Indonesia and Vietnam by those country’s legitimate governments. The consequent death tolls in those countries range from the thousands, tens of thousands, right up to the millions.

Recently, Obama has publicly admitted that the United States has provided aid to the terrorists in Syria. Hence the United States is culpable for probably most of the deaths suffered there since March 2011. By one estimate the death toll is 400,000, including 80,000 Syrian Army soldiers. How many more would have perished without the help that Syria got from Iran, Russia and Hezbollah?

President Vladimir Putin should politely tell President Donald Trump to butt out and remove those U.S. forces illegally located near al-Tanf and elsewhere in Syria.

james

I should have included Greece in the list above. In October 1944, as a result of the infamous ‘percentages’ agreement (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Percentages_agreement) between Stalin and Churchill, the ELAS partisans, who had liberated much of Greece from the occupying Germans and Italians were tricked, or coerced, into disarming, whilst ‘arrested’ former collaborators were secretly re-armed by the British. This was only made possible because of the unwarranted trust that so many of the ELAS fighters had placed in the Greek Communist Party (KKE) which blindly followed Stalin.

In 1946, former ELAS partisans resumed their struggle as the Democratic Army (DSE), but were defeated by 1949 as a result of intervention by American ‘advisors’ and the meddling in the command of the Democratic Army by the KKE. The Americans bombarded the Democratic Army with napalm in 1949. Abu Muhammad al-Adnani was killed near Halab (Aleppo) in northern Syria in an airstrike by the U.S led Coalition. One of Falaha’s roles was the Islamic State’s official spokesman. Next week, IS announced that it has a new spokesman, Abu Hassan al-Muhajir, and he gave an inaugural speech. That speech, entitled “You Will Remember What I Have Told You” https://i.imgur.com/97jflEW.png

ريتاج السلفية

1. Indeed, all praise is due to Allah. We praise Him, seek His aid and forgiveness, and seek refuge with Allah from the evil of our souls and the consequences of our deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, none can misguide, and whomsoever He leaves to stray, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and messenger; may abundant peace and blessings be upon him, his family, and his companions until the Day of Recompense. As for what follows: Allah said, “Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands. He will disgrace them, give you victory over them, satisfy the breasts of a believing people, and remove the fury in the believer’s hearts. And Allah turns in forgiveness to whom He wills; Allah is knowing and wise. Do you think that you will be left alone while Allah has not yet made evident those among you who strive [for His cause] and do not take other than Allah, His Messenger, and the believers as patrons? And Allah is acquainted with what you do” (At-Tawbah 14-16).

ريتاج السلفية

2. To the mujahideen for Allah’s cause everywhere. O soldiers of the Khilafa [caliphate] patiently clenching hot coals! O defenders of the religion and honour! O you who are ready to sacrifice your souls cheaply for Allah’s cause! O you who have confronted with your chests the most insolent crusade known throughout history, defending the homeland of Islam with your blood! O you who have terrified the nations of kufr [disbelief] and armies of apostasy with your bravery and solid hearts! O you who have astonished the entire world with your patience and steadfastness!

ريتاج السلفية

3. I advise with what Allah’s Messenger advised Abdullah Ibn Abbas, as he said to him: “If all creation wanted to benefit you with something that Allah had not decreed for you, they would not be able to do so. And if they wanted to harm you with something that Allah had not decreed against you, they would not be able to do so. Know that there is much good in being patient upon what you dislike, that victory comes with patience, that relief comes with anguish, and that ease comes with difficulty”

Mike

Fuck off satanist.

SurfshackTito

Hey cuz can you clarify for me? are you Nusra (HTS) or the Islamic State?

ريتاج السلفية

Islamic state. Nusra is part of it anyway

SurfshackTito

How do you feel about Al-Jolani, Ahrar al Sham and other groups that are similar to you guys? and Didn’t al jolani turn his back on the Caliph?

ريتاج السلفية

I personally dont care as long we fight for the same goal – tawheed we should be allies and should no care about worldy benefits or power. Sadly the califate has been disintegrated by our vast enemies so be patient and wait for new caliphate inshaallah

Feudalism Victory

Vast enemies. I cant imagine why your despicable faction would be so universally reviled. (Thats sarcasm)

Isis posting. Unbelievable.

Promitheas Apollonious

shit it is shit, no matter how is calling itself.

ريتاج السلفية

O people of Islam and its lions in Idlib! O people of chivalry, honour, and esteem! Has the matter passed with the Muslim’s land being looted by a lewd, atheist, and disbelieving woman, after her peers were incapable of producing a male to represent them and spout his wickedness in their name. Rather, the deviants from the people of disbelief and idolatry flock from the extents of the earth in support of their falsehood and the war against Islam and its people. Thus, tell me, by your Lord, what will the situation be like if the transgression of the atheists from among the Kurds is not repelled and they achieve what they desire? May Allah not allow such to occur. The situation will be nothing save war against your religion, the absence of your shari’a, the desecration of your masajid, the humiliation of your men, and the widowing of your women and wives by the lewd, atheist, and disbelieving women who are, by Allah, the vile, despicable, absurd, and miserable. If this were to happen, there would be neither any good nor any value in life. Know that now is the hour of truth and fulfilment of vows.

Mike

How much Israeli dick do you salafist suck in day.

saleh assaf (Lion from Mosul)

My Dawla is remaining, firing at the enemy. Its soldiers shout that it is remaining. Its path will not be eliminated, its light seeks to expand From a glorious God, thus removing darkness. Its rain is like the clouds, raining down with spears On the gatherings of the dogs and the misguided enemy. Through the iron, the swords have given rise to honourable deeds, Having awoken a sleepy Ummah from slumber. Oh people of error, it is remaining, not vanishing, Anchored like the mountains, anchored, anchored. It has not bowed down like the slaves, its might is like iron. Its zealous lions will revive our glory. Its faithful soldiers have built the edifice, High in the sky, high, high. So it has become unable to be harmed, lofty as the clouds, Elevated to Excellence, the pinnacle in the sky. The Dawla of the believers is the fortress of the Muslims. Its strength will not grow soft, its fire protects. It has exploded their hearing, made their tears flow, Its strong wind has dispersed their gatherings. It has killed them by the thousands and led them to their deaths, With bloody armour, swords and knives. How much blood it has made to flow in the path of defiance! For the banner has transformed into a mast for on high. By an illuminating book (The Qur’an) and weapons that give victory, To the Almighty God it has been calling. My Dawla, indeed it is the saved sect. Its soldiers shout: remaining, remaining.

Mike

Again go lick the ass of you American and Israeli masters, you satanic piece of shit.

There is no point in talking to Trump, he changes his mind by the minute.

All negotiations with the US should be put on hold, until an adult person is in charge.

John Mason

Putin keeps on about respecting sovereignty and democratically elected governments then what gives him the right to discuss US illegal occupation with Trump? Trump the gutless bitch should be discussing US conduct, compensation and withdrawal with Assad and Putin should be telling him so.

Richard M

I think it is pragmatism. When wars conclude, the participants have to come to agreements, or else fighting continues. Like in Vietnam, US wanted an “out”, and the Paris “Peace” Accord gave them that “out”. Putin wants to give Trump a way to save face. That is preferable to starting WW3.

John Mason

WW3 is inevitable, just a matter of when so why prolong it?

Empire's Frontiers

Current enjoyment of good food and abundant female company would be two fine reasons.

Richard M

Nuke ’em all , and let God sort ’em out! :D

John Mason

NO. What I am referring to is standing up and not retreating to bully tactics. Bullies like Trump back down when confronted, have a fear of getting hurt or death, their world is a world of bluff, call them out and they will back down. If not then it was going to happen anyway at least you take them with you.

Sinbad2

Putin will tell Trump the US invasion of Syria is illegal. Trump will say, well whatya gonna do about it, and you know when your as famous as me, women let you grab their pussy. Does my hair look alright?

It will be a meeting of a man, and a child.

I’m sure that it’s on the agenda, but understand that any deal reached will also have to be agreeable to the local Rebels. They won’t want to surrender or leave Syria so Al-Tanf might end up an even smaller version of Kosovo.

RichardD

I wrote a few months back that as the Syrian government footprint grew, the regime change elements would have fewer assets to resist their defeat with. And the ratio of Syrian government coalition man power and equipment to regime change man power and equipment would increase significantly in favor of the government. Providing the government with overwhelming force to clear regime change areas. And that’s what’s happened.

The end of the war against non state actor regime change forces is coming to an end. With the exception of Isis in the SE. Which appears to be under defacto US protection in terms of military action against it by the Syrian government coalition. Once that’s done, and it’s only a few months away, then clearing the state actor controlled areas will be all that’s left. At that point with all of it’s capabilities intact and unused. The Syrian government coalition is going to be a lot less inclined to avoid confrontation with state actors, than it has been so far in the war.

Taking down NATO and Israeli aircraft, drones and missiles. And hammering the IDF in the occupied Golan with missiles and artillery rockets. Is a heads up that further direct confrontation with state actors is being prepared for and will be used on an as needed basis to recover Syrian territory that they’re currently occupying.

There is also a strong likelihood that significant ground operations will be initiated against state actors and their proxies in the occupied territories. With both conventional forces, and spec ops, intel and indigenous forces supported by the government. I don’t see a secessionist project being allowed to continue once the non state regime change areas are cleared. How much of the clearing of state actor occupied areas is done by force or negotiation is an open question. If negotiations don’t result in state actor withdrawal, I don’t see force being withheld. And once the state actors are gone, resistance by non state actors in those areas will be unable to resist the restoration of Syrian government administration.
