On the morning of March 27, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) shelled the city of Melitopol which has recently become the capital of the Russian Zaporozhye region. According to preliminary data, four people were injured, several buildings were damaged.
The city administration reported that the shelling took place at around eight o’clock in the morning. The local media reported that at least five explosions thundered in the city.
The AFU shelled the city with guided missiles, the type of which is now being established, according to Vladimir Rogov, a member of the Main Council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region.
As a result of the strike, the building near the multidisciplinary college on the avenue of the 50th Anniversary of Victory was partially destroyed.
Classes began at the college 15 minutes before the strikes, there were students in the classrooms. Two civilians were wounded during the shelling.
The Ukrainian media claimed that the facility was used for accommodation of Russian serviceman.
However, videos from the spot showed children being evacuated from the building immediately after the attack.
In addition, Ukrainian strikes hit the Aviagorodok district located in the north of the city. One of the shells hit the garage. Also, a nearby residential building received minor damage.

The day before, another explosion thundered in the city. An improvised explosive device went off on Krupskaya Street, targeting a local police officer. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region, he was hospitalized with injuries of varying severity.
Is it even possible that during a war near the borders, the school are open? The same for Kiev when the helicopter came down.
When is Russia going to take the gloves off and destroy Bandera HQ in Kiev and wipe out all the railways and airports in Ukraine?

Shelling a school full of children… isn’t that a perfect way to win the hearts and souls of Ukrainians who are under “Russian occupation”!?
Listen to what they said Poroschenko “Our children will play outside and theirs will have to hide in the basements”. The Ukrainians never wanted the people in the east back just their territory this is just the same playbook as what turks did with armenians in ww1 and croats did with serbs in ww2 and the balcan wars. But if you are friends with the west like ukraine and croatia (in the 90s) then doing this is a democratic deed and no crime at all. Croatia was awarded with nato and eu membership for driving out 250.000 serbs from their homes. Something the ukrainians have mentioned as inspiration for themselves many times throughout the last 9 years. They call it the croatian solution for donbas.
