On October 20, Hezbollah and its allies launched more attacks from southern Lebanon against the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
In three separate statement, Hezbollah said that its fighters targeted the military sites of al-Ramtha, Zabdin, al-Radar, Ruwaisat al-Qarn, Ruwaisat al-Alam, al-Asi, Barakat Risha, Ramya and Harmon in the occupied Shebaa Farms and Kfarchouba Hills with anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) and direct fire.
The group announced in another statement that a gathering of Israeli troops at Honen Barracks was also targeted by its fighters.
In addition, an unidentified fighter infiltrated the separation line near the settlement of Margaliot in Shebaa Farms and opened fire at Israeli troops, wounding one.
The occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms also targeted with a salvo of some 20-30 rockets, which were launched from southern Lebanon. In another attack, two rockets were fired at the settlement Metula. No casualties were reported after the rocket attacks, which were likely carried out by Hezbollah’s Palestinian allies, the Hamas Movement or the Islamic Jihad.
The IDF responded to the rocket attacks with artillery fire and said that it had targeted four cells of Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. THe group didn’t report any casualties, however.

The recent increase in attacks and rocket fire on the Lebanon front forced the IDF to evacuate residents from Kiryat Shmona, one of the largest settlements in northern Israel, to state-subsidized guest houses in safer areas.
Clashes on the Lebanon front began following the October 7 Hamas-led surprise attack against Israel from the Gaza Strip and they are expected to intensify in coming days and weeks.
As of October 20, the clashes have claimed the lives of six Israelis, including a civilian, 13 fighters of Hezbollah, five Palestinian fighters and four Lebanese civilians, two of whom were journalists. It is worth to note that IDF censorship may be preventing Hebrew media from reporting many casualties.

is not a matter of if but when. hisbollah will join the fight and launch massive missile strikes once israel has committed the bulk of their forces to the hopeless ground operation in gaza. the war will end in a negotiated stalemate, both hamas and hezbollah will survive to fight another day, israel’s pretense of deterrence will be completely demolished and iran will be the biggest winner.
the idf know very well that it will be game over for them if they launch the “planned” gaza ground operation so as of yet it’s not guaranteed that they will commit.
sadly in the meantime the palestinians are suffering the brunt of the air assault.
i don’t disagree. it looks like getting a decisive outcome by military means alone is a real grind in 2023. look at ru/ukr. ru will probably win out longer term as they increase production but war is costly.
so, after all of the rockets hamas launched, you are telling me none of the missiles caused any causalities on the israeli side, wow hamas is a complete joke! israel allowed hamas fighters to infiltrate into their territory and commit the atrocities that they did to justify israel coming into the gaza strip and slaughtering the palestinians! and you know what hamas fell right into their trap their best bet is to give themselves up to the israelis, so that their people won’t continue to suffer!
